WRAL Freedom Balloon Fest May 26-29: Up, up and away! Fuquay-Varina reaches new heights over Memorial Day weekend as dozens of hot air balloons take flight at Fleming Loop. This four day event features balloon launches, arts and crafts and lots of family fun activities.

Celebrate Fuquay-Varina October 7: Annually, more than 8,000 people take in the sights and sounds of the Celebrate Fuquay-Varina festival! 

Independence Day Celebration July 3: Join us at South Park for this good old fashioned patriotic celebration. Gates open at 6 p.m. Live music. Fireworks at sundown.

Tree Lighting November 30: Holiday festivities! Spend the weekend, shop in our 2 downtowns and experience an old fashioned parade!
